Status quo
Taiwan has tea exported for more than 150 years and ranked in top tiers in terms of the quantity and quality. However, when checking Wikipedia for Taiwan Oolong, one couldn’t find too much information even though our teas have won many awards in prestigious competition globally; due to many objective and subjective reasons, Taiwan teas remain a mystery for most of people. When talking about oolong, people would only take it as the “tea partly oxidated”; in this case, it has not much difference with yellow tea, white tea or even some green teas owing to the definition of “partly oxidated” actually shared by many types of teas.
