
Oolong tea dendrogram
The purpose of this classification is to present a structural framework of Taiwanese oolong tea, enabling a systematic understanding of Taiwan tea categories. However, many local varieties are not listed, nor does it include newly developed oolong teas (such as “Tangerine Oolong,” a new processing method introduced in recent years). However, the foundation is always the most important. Based on the understanding of this structure as well as the basic production methods, one can quickly and broadly get to know the new teas.
